winter percussion and color guard season has begun!
At Roseville High School, we encourage our student musicians to develop lifelong skills such as discipline, personal accountability, dedication, comradery, adversity, and time management. These important skills are learned whole-heartedly through each of our Music Program's ensembles.
What do we do?
Marching Band and Color Guard members learn and memorize a competitive field show each Fall. This includes drill movements and dance choreography. Students will also play A LOT of pep tunes and perform at a handful of rallies and high school sporting events.
Where do we go?
The Tiger Band and Guard travel throughout the NorCal region competing, participating in parades, performing in school rallies and supporting our school sports teams at Home games in the stands.
When do we rehearse?
Marching Band is a Fall Semester class held during First period. Mandatory rehearsals are also scheduled after school every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00pm-9:00pm on Campus. In addition, there will be a few Super Saturday rehearsals scheduled accordingly. Since there is a lot to learn, we also host a 5-day Tiger Band Camp in July to jumpstart the season.
Do I need to audition?
